Sixty-one N.J.-funded special ed officials’ salaries exceed proposed $175K cap

Proposed federal stimulus bill would pump $268M into N.J. public education system if approved

States will have 30 days to apply for their portion of the $26 billion. If a state chooses not to apply, the measure calls for the money to be distributed directly to its Title I schools, low-performing schools that are funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
