E3 SENDS REQUEST TO COMMISSIONER CERF FOR INTER-DISTRICT DEADLINE EXTENSION – EXTENSION APPROVED

On November 1st, E3 sent a letter to Commissioner Cerf requesting an extension of the deadline for the Inter-district School Choice program due to Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath.

On Friday November 2nd, Commissioner Cerf sent an email blast to all school districts providing information on revised deadlines for the Inter-district School Choice programs. The deadline for verifying student inter-district choice enrollment applications is now November 16th. November 26th is now the deadline for districts to confirm student eligibility.

The Commissioner’s office requests assistance in getting this information out to the Inter-district School Choice stakeholders.
